Apple, in an attempt to move out its primary production in China, is ramping up its manufacturing units in India with over $1 Billion investment.

A report from The Times of India states that Apple will invest $1 billion in India through its “partners”. Foxconn is the main investment partner here, but others will join soon. Apple also plans to export “Assembled in India” iPhones to other countries.

Foxconn, Taiwan’s contract manufacturing behemoth and the biggest production partner for Apple globally, will be investment partner for the iPhone maker’s latest push. Its factory in Chennai will be used to manufacture products for Apple’s global markets. Also, a host of component suppliers to the company will be making investments in the region for the local push.

Apple is also looking forward to opening the country’s first brick-and-mortar retail store, but also said that it will “take some time.” The news came after the fact that the Government of India eased rules on foreign companies looking to establish a retail presence.

Apple also confirmed the report.

We love our customers in India and we’re eager to serve them online and in-store with the same experience and care that Apple customers around the world enjoy. We appreciate the support and hard work by Prime Minister Modi and his team to make this possible, and we look forward to one day welcoming customers to India’s first Apple retail store. It will take us some time to get our plans under way, and we’ll have more to announce at a future date.

Even though Apple wants its retail presence really soon in India, it is surely not going to happen overnight. Modern Apple Stores are beyond just retail stores. And it takes a lot of planning to open one. The statement clarifies that the urgency to expand in India won’t compromise location choice and design.

Keep following us for more details.

iPhone 11 Pro Max

Apple just announced its new iPhones at Steve Jobs Theatre in Cupertino. We know that the iPhone 11 is the latest, but there are two more iPhones launched this morning. The iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max feature improved specs and sophisticated tech.

Both the devices look very similar to last year’s iPhone Xs and Xs Max. But they have one major change – a third camera.

Pro Camera?

The cameras on these devices are the biggest features this year. The third lens is a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens with a 120-degree field of view. It joins the wide-angle and the telephoto lens which were present on the Xs as well.

The telephoto camera is now improved with a larger ƒ/2.0 aperture, which Apple says will capture up to 40 percent more light compared to the XS camera. The front camera is the same as that of the iPhone 11 – a 12 MP sensor which can also shoot slofie (we know…) and in 4K as well.

The iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max also get the Night Mode. You can read more about it here.

FaceID on all the three iPhones is now twice as fast. It also works on greater angles. Apple is also (finally!!) including a faster 18W charger inside the box.

The iPhone 11 Pro starts at $999, and the Max starts at $1,099. There are 64GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage options. You can preorder starting Friday, September 13th, at 8 AM ET /5 AM PT, and shipping will start a week later on September 20th.

Here’s the introduction video.

In the Apple Keynote today at the Steve Jobs theatre, Apple unveiled the iPhone 11. The new iPhone comes with a lot of upgrades but doesn’t have the OLED screen as it’s predecessors. Instead, it has an LCD or what Apple calls as a Liquid Retina display.

This is perhaps the best LCD display Apple has ever put in an iPhone. Just like XR, the iPhone 11 might have a slightly lower resolution display. iPhone XR was the best selling iPhone last year. And it proves that numbers on paper don’t matter.

A13 Bionic – The Fastest CPU and GPU in Any Smartphone

While numbers don’t matter, Apple also made sure to flaunt their new processor – the A13 Bionic. They compared the power of the A13 chip with other flagships processors like the Snapdragon 855.

The iPhone 11 has a 6.1-inch display. The design is very similar to the XR. Except that this year, there’s a wide-angle lens as well!

iPhone 11 – The Phone with Two Camera Bumps

The camera module on the new iPhone is upgraded. It now comes with dual cameras instead of a single lens like the XR. We already have seen that Apple can also do portrait shots without the telephoto lens. Which is why there’s one wide-angle camera and another ultra-wide camera both with 12 MP sensors.

Apple has changed the camera interface with iOS 13 as well. The camera now has an immersive view when you switch to ultra-wide so that you can see the details of your photos. There’s also a Night Mode which is similar to what we’ve seen on Samsung and Google flagships recently. The neural network on the A13 Bionic combines multiple images for lower noise and increased stability and most importantly – more light.

Night Mode on the iPhone 11
Night Mode on the iPhone 11

Interestingly enough, Apple didn’t want to create a really huge camera bump. So, they went with two bumps instead. The whole square camera module on the iPhone 11 is a bump. Then there are separate bumps for each of the two lenses.

iPhone 11 Camera

This is one clever design choice, but it clearly won’t stop your phone from rattling over your desk.

Coming to the front, there’s still the old-school notch with the FaceID sensors. But FaceID is now twice as fast! The front camera also gets a new Slo-mo mode, which Apple wants to call Slofie but we don’t.

The iPhone 11 will last an hour longer than the XR. It also has IP68 water resistance rating upto 2 meters, whereas the XR was IP67 rated.

Apple is pricing the iPhone 11 starting at $699, and shipping will start on September 20th. You can preorder starting Friday, September 13th at 5 AM PT /8 AM ET.

You can watch the introduction video below because we liked the music.

Fans interested in viewing the stream on YouTube instead of Apple’s own platform can visit the company’s website and set a localized showtime reminder.

If you are tvOS user, Apple has updated its events the Apple Events app ahead of the event. You’ll also be able to stream it live on Apple’s website and more. The note reads,

Apple has surprisingly launched a Beta version of Apple Music for the web. Apple Music was earlier available as an application just for Mac and Windows 10 (via iTunes). But not that it’s available as a website, even ChromeOS and Linux users can access it.

Spotify, Apple Music’s biggest competitor, also has a web player for years now. Apple Music for Web is quite similar to its app. On the left, you’ll find the For You, Browse and Radio sections along with your library.

Apple Music Beta for Web

On the top, it shows you the song you are currently listening to, along with other music controls. To use it, click here and sign in using an Apple ID if you have an Apple Music subscription. Then, you can start using it just like an application.

The website is in Beta mode and Apple will take feedback from its users. We think that Apple might launch the website officially alongside the updated iCloud website at the Apple Event on September 10th.

Apple is rolling out a redesigned look for iCloud Beta for the web. The new-look accompanies the new Reminders app on iOS 13 and macOS Catalina.

Instead of the old blue bubbly look, iCloud now has a cleaner interface with a white background. You are also wished with Good Evening (depending upon the time) and below that are all the apps accessible with just a click.

You can use iCloud for the web to manage your Apple devices and view Photos, Keynotes and more. Also, the new iCloud still contains “Find my iPhone” as opposed to the new “Find My” app instead. We think this will change in the future.

You can check out the new interface by simply going to beta.icloud.com and then entering your account details. The interface will roll out in non-beta once Apple officially launches iOS 13 along with the new iPhones.

It is a real pain when you when you lose your data from your iPhone, be it intentionally or as a mistake. What happens if you forget to back up, or (the nightmare scenario) your backup got lost or corrupted? Is it still possible to recover some or all of the data from a bricked device? Yes – perhaps. There are a lot of softwares and applications available in the internet which help you to recover your data from your Android Device or your PC but for iOS there are just a few and TunesKit iOS Data Recovery is one of the best software that you can find.

The software can help you recover messages, contacts, photos, videos, music and a lot more. The steps are simple and straightforward once you install it. It has three options to recover your data: from your connected Apple Device or via iTunes or by using iCloud. It is compatible with iOS 11 and above with the support for more than 20 different file types.

It is a great piece of software for majority of the people using an Apple Device as we all lose some data one way or the other and then end up cussing ourselves for such foolishness. It helps you to check your Whatsapp/KIK/Viber messages and attachments if anyone ever needed that, along with Safari Bookmarks, Notes, Calendars, Reminders, etc. and it takes only a few minutes for the process to get completed.

The main page displays all the details of your device, starting from your phone’s serial number to the amount of storage available on your device and the device UUID.

In this page you can choose the type of data you lost and start scanning.

The scanning takes a few minutes, so you will have to leave your phone plugged into your device and let the software do its work.

You get the option to check your previous backups by logging in to your iCloud Account.

It’s good that they include this feature because Apple gives you very limited options in restoring your data. It’s all or nothing—there’s no way to restore individual files. Unless you use an iOS data recovery app.

Restoring your data from a backup will be much quicker than trying to retrieve it from your phone, so I recommend you start there. Data recovery scans can take hours, restoring a backup is much quicker. Aiseesoft FoneLab was able to retrieve my files from an iTunes backup in just a few minutes

If your backup is encrypted, you will have to enter the password in order to access it.

After the software completes the scan you can find all the lost data, like photos, contacts, videos, etc and then you can choose the files you want to restore.

You’ll find that TunesKit can salvage photos, videos, contacts, call history, messages, voice memos and bookmarks from your iDevices, but can also get back deleted data from WhatsApp, WeChat, Viber and other apps.

TunesKit provides you with 100% safe recovery. There is a free version and a paid version available for the software, while the free version just lets you view the files and not extract them back to your PC, the paid version allows you to take the full control over your lost files. I would highly recommend you to buy the licence and support the developers for creating such a lifesaving software. You will get a free lifetime upgrade after purchasing the software once.

It is available for both Windows and MacOS, so regardless of which PC or Mac Device you use, TunesKit is there to save your day.

They support every iPhone starting from the very old iPhone 4, all models of iPad Pro, iPad Mini, iPad Air and the iPod Touch 4 and 5.

You can head into their website to check the other details and their other softwares.

You can download TunesKit iPhone Data Recovery for both Windows and Mac.
