LG announced its first truly wireless earbuds – Tone+ Free.
After Apple came with its AirPods, mostly every OEMs are trying to make their own variant of it. For example, Samsung has its Galaxy Buds, Realme has its Buds, which somehow looks similar to the AirPods. And now LG has joined the tracks and has announced its first truly wireless earbuds – Tone+ Free.
The charging of this earbud is superb, as LG claims, the buds will get 1 hour of battery in 5 minutes, and can hold a charge for 6 hours straight. There is a possibility that the earbuds use Type-C cable, as transferring that much power via a micro USB isn’t that easy. However, LG hasn’t verified the same.
If you hate germs or have OCD about hygiene, then rest assured, as these earbuds come with a case having ultra-violet light inbuilt. The earbuds, Tone+ Free will be available in South Korea for 259,999 won, which is approximately $216.
However, they launched a pretty different variant in the US market. It is a Tone Free. It has 6.5 hours of playback time, along with IPX4 water resistance. The price of the earbuds is $200. You can buy the LG Tone Free from LG store or authorized retailers.
