Dell G5 SE is the first Ryzen 4000 laptop from Dell.
This year, CES 2020 is bringing some greatest and innovative products under the spotlight. Some are bringing new processors, some are coming with bezel-less TVs, etc. Fortunately, Dell also came out with its new gaming laptop at CES 2020. The new laptop from their G-series is the Dell G5 SE. And specialty about this product? It is the first laptop from Dell with a Ryzen processor.
The Dell G5 SE is a 15-inch gaming laptop from Dell’s affordable range of gaming laptops. These laptops generally come with performance nearest to their Alienware series, but with some cost-cutting here and there.
The laptop will come with the Ryzen 4000 H-series mobile processors, which packs 8 cores and 16 threads at max. And over that, there is also the Radeon RX 5000M GPU as well. And with the AMD SmartShift, both the CPU and GPU can be overclocked dynamically, giving a good performance, and then automatically cools down when not needed.
The G5 SE is going to be the thinner gaming laptop, which might come with the 1080p resolution with a 144Hz refresh rate panel. The Keyboard is a normal type unless we get to know more about this laptop in the coming days. However, the WASD keys are having the highlighted borders.
The Dell G5 SE packs a 68Wh battery and will cost $800, and will be made available starting from the month of April this year.
I hope they bring this laptop in India because first, we have the Dell G3 and G7 only. And second, they do not have good Price to Performance (G3 only), and G7 is a little bit on the costlier side.
