Google’s Launch Event is streaming right now, and the first thing that the company had in line was its new set of truly wireless earbuds, the Pixel Buds.

With the launch of it, Google has stepped into truly wireless market competing the most popular, Apple Airpods. The Buds do not look any different from their last version, the design remains the same with just no cable.

The Pixel Buds will be having 5 hours of continuous battery life, with 24 hours extended battery when kept in its box. The Buds will be coming in a few different colors, including orange and grey. What looks like is that the box will be having a black coating or some type of film to protect it from dust which is a huge issue with the Apple Airpods.

One of the major announcements was the connectivity range of the Pixel Buds. These will reportedly stay connected even when you are 3 rooms away (indoor) and will also have the connection from one end of the football field to the other (outdoor). This is made possible by Google’s own battery technology.

Along with these features, you will be able to access Google Assistant hands-free while your phone is away from you , and just get your work done.

The Pixel Buds will be arriving next year with a price tag of $179, although there is no news about which region will receive it when it launches for the first time.
