Asus ROG 2 phone released in India with massive battery

The second generation of gaming smartphone from Asus, called Asus ROG 2 has been released in India today. The smartphone comes with some high-grade hardware specification onboard.

The ROG 2 smartphone packs some impressive hardware onboard. The smartphone packs Snapdragon 855+ SoC, which is a gaming centric processor. However, the pricing is very aggressive here. That means, the smartphone has been priced half to what we saw with the first generation.

The ROG 2 will feature UFS 3.0 based storage. There will be a choice for storage as well. The 8GB RAM variant will come with 128GB whereas the 12GB variant will come with 512GB of storage.

The smartphones will cost Rs37,999 for the 8GB RAM variant. Whereas the 12GB RAM Variant will cost Rs59,999.

The display here is a 6.89-inch FHD AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Also, the display is a 10Bit HDR support display.

The rear camera is a dual-camera setup, with 48MP main camera, with 13MP wide-angle sensor as well.

Also, Asus has packed a massive 6000mAh batter inside the device.

Along with the Asus ROG 2, the firm is also releasing some accessories as well.

A TwinView dock will cost you around Rs 19,999, whereas the mobile Desktop station will cost you Rs 12,999 only. The Kunai Gamepad will cost you around Rs 9,990. Also, the firm is selling a 30W charger for an extra Rs 1,999. However, the charger will come bundled with the 12GB RAM variant, the 8GB RAM variant will come with a standard 10W charger out of the box.

Starting September 30, the smartphone will be on sale on Flipkart.
