Google Photos now allows you to print photos.

Google is evolving its features most of the time. This time it’s the Google Photos. The app now allows you to order printing of your photos from anywhere, almost around 7,500 CVS, or Walmart.

This is a pretty neat thing. Many times some of our special photos get deleted unknowingly. But this feature can retain the images for almost a lifetime.

Let me first tell you, the day you order, the same day you get the order ready for pick up.

The prints will be 4-inch x 6-inch in size and costs around $0.33 per print. And if you somehow got busy with some work, you can change the contacts for pickup to friends family, etc.

To place an order:

  1. Open the Google Photos app.
  2. On the sidebar, tap on Print Shop.
  3. Tap on the Photos Print and then tap Order Prints.
  4. Now, click on Get Started, and pick the images you want to print.
  5. Tap Next, and then select the nearest CVS to get your photos print.
  6. Place Order when ready.

Apart from this, there are several other features in the new Google Photos.

Using Machine Learning, theMemories section will set the previous year’s memories/ photos on the top of the album. This feature is called Memories.

And when ML is used, there are numerous features that come handy as well. You can now search your images with texts inside them as well. Perfect use of Machine Learning going on here!

With the new Streamlined sharing feature, you can now share images with your friends. The images/videos you share will have the same high quality that you backed up in the Google Drive.

However, this feature is not yet live. And this will come in the coming days as well.

Google Photos to Canvas: an amazing journey.

This feature is pretty amazing, and also much better than the simple 4 by 6 prints.

Here, you can get your images print, in the same manner, on a canvas. This is also a same-day print service. The cost here will start from $19.99 starting from canvas size 8 x 8, 12 x 14 and 16 x 20. Yes, the higher the size of the canvas, the more you pay.

The pickup for the canvas will not be limited to the 7,500 CVS, but also Walmart, and several pharmacy chains as well.
