Samsung’s Official Screen Protectors Won’t Block In-display Fingerprint Sensor

Unpacked 2019 is just a day away and we’re now looking towards the leaked image of the Galaxy S10’s screen protector. It suggests that they will be able to work with the in-display fingerprint sensor without requiring any cutouts.

Previously, it was known that normal screen protectors won’t be able to work with the Galaxy S10. It also said that cutouts would be required to make the in-display fingerprint sensor work properly. However, the image makes it clear that the official screen protectors will be applied to the display much like any other screen protector.

Another report from SamMobile also claimed that Samsung might pre-install screen protectors on all three models of the Galaxy S10. The moment you open the box, you’ll find a protector already installed.

The Galaxy S10 will be unveiled tomorrow at San Francisco. Keep following us to know more about Unpacked 2019.
