Samsung just announced a new tablet out of the blue. Or perhaps everyone was busy with the Galaxy S10, it got missed. The Galaxy Tab S5e comes with a 10.5-inch display in a slim and light body. Its body is around 5.5mm thin and the tablet weighs just 400g. This makes the tablet very portable to use. It’s also Samsung’s first tablet to feature the new Bixby 2.0 experience.
The tablet’s design is modern with a 16:10 aspect ratio. It has got a Super AMOLED display with an 81.8 percent screen to body ratio with no visible home button. There’s 4GB RAM and 64GB storage / 6GB RAM and 128GB storage configurations.
Speaking about the camera, the tablet has got a 13-megapixel rear and 8-megapixel front lens. It also has a USB Type-C port, Wi-Fi, GPS and a 7,040mAh battery with fast charging which Samsung says is good for up to 14.5 hours. Surprisingly and unfortunately, Samsung has ditched the 3.5mm headphone jack on this device. The company will ship a Type-C headset connector in the box.
Galaxy Tab S5e is going to be priced at 419 euro ($479) for the Wi-Fi variant and 479 euro ($540) for the LTE model. It will be available in the US, Europe, and other markets starting from April 2019.
