T-Mobile Galaxy S9, S9+ Also Gets Android Pie Update

The Galaxy S9 is getting Android Pie update across all the carriers in the world and T-Mobile joins the list as well. The update came on February 10  with software version G960USQS3CSAB and G965USQU3CSAB for the S9 and S9+ respectively.

Along with the famed OneUI, the Pie update also brings RCS Universal Profile 1.0 support, which will allow users to send photos, videos, emojis and more via standard messaging. This eliminates the need to use third-party apps like WhatsApp to send photos and stuff.

You can check for the update on your phone by going into the Software update menu in the Settings app and tapping Download updates manually. It’s a 1.9GB download over the air, so be sure to use a Wi-Fi network if possible.
