Samsung sometimes surprises us with their updates. Many times we have seen Samsung is providing the updates first to the mid-low range devices first, instead of the flagship devices. Same is the case with Galaxy J6+.

This update, along with some security bug fixes from Google. And with Samsung’s own bug fixes brings stability to the camera. The update also pushes the firmware version to J610FNXXU1ASA2.

The updates are coming pretty late for some of the devices, thanks to Android Pie for Samsung devices are in progress. But, even if Samsung rolls out the Android Pie update, it might come a month late Security Update, which is nothing new. Given the past few update cycles, we are pretty sure about it.

Also, the Galaxy J6+ will be the first budget device to get Android Pie, after the A-series has got the update.

The February patch is currently available for Germany OTA.
