Lenovo-owned Motorola on Thursday announced the launch of new budget smartphone series, Moto G7. The latest range includes four new smartphones – Moto G7, Moto G7 Plus, Moto G7 Power and Moto G7 Play.

Each Moto G7 family member has something going for it but if you find it a bit too complicated and perplexing, Motorola has wrapped them neatly in the four promo videos below. Take a look.

All the devices are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 632, also have USB-C and a 3.5mm headphone jack, as well as a fingerprint reader.  Unfortunately there is no NFC support.

Moto G7

The classic member of the lineup the Moto G7 comes with a 6.2-inch Max Vision Full HD+ display. It runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 processor with 4GB of RAM. The smartphone comes with 12-megapixel and 5-megapixel dual-rear cameras. Moto G7 has an 8-megapixel selfie camera. It’s powered by a 3,000mAh battery.

Its double-sided glass design with 3D Gorilla Glass both front and back sets it apart. It comes in black or white.

Moto G7 Play

It is the cheapest and smallest phone of the family.

It has a 5.7-inch screen with the same 1,570 by 720, or HD+, resolution as the larger G7 Power. That means the screen is actually a bit more dense when it comes to the pixels. It drops the memory down to 2GB, but carries over the G7 Power’s 32GB of storage and comes with a 3000 mAh battery.

A 13MP f/2.0 camera is on the rear and an 8MP f/2.2 camera is on front. The G7 Play is limited to 1080p HD video capture.

Moto G7 Power

As the name suggests, the G7 Power packs a massive 5000 mAh battery and as the company claims the phone can run three days with a full charge which is alot when compared to most devices.  The quick charge battery can give you nine hours of power after just 15 minutes of charging.

The screen is just as large as the G7’s, but it isn’t as sharp. It offers 1,570 by 720 pixels, or HD+ resolution. The G7 Power also downgrades the memory (3GB) and storage (32GB).

Moto G7 Plus

The Plus model is different from the rest of the members of its family, since it mainly focuses on the camera.

The G7 Plus comes with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor clocked at 1.8GHz, aided by an Adreno 509 GPU and has memory up to 4GB and storage is 64GB.

The camera has a richer 16MP sensor at f/1.7 and a 5MP depth sensor for portrait mode. Camera features include auto HDR, high-resolution zoom, and EIS/OIS. A 12MP selfie camera is on front and it includes group selfie and slow motion video modes.

Availability and Cost

The devices are already available in Brazil and Mexico today.  The devices will be hitting the shelves of the stores in Europe in the coming weeks, while the residents of the USA, North America and other countries will have to wait till later this spring. It is to be noted that G7 Plus will be available in selected countries only.

The G7 starts at $299, G7 Power at $249, G7 Play the cheapest at $199 and the G7 Plus at $340.
