Another year, another Mobile World Congress. But what’s going to be the highlight for HMD Global at MWC, is probably their new phone, the Nokia 9 PureView. We’ve been seeing renders of this device from quite some time now, and the event poster from Nokia is hinting it as well.
What seems to appear on the left side of the image is the Penta-camera setup of the Nokia 9 PureView (although only four are visible). The device will come equipped with Zeiss optics, Snapdragon 845 Processor, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, wireless charging, and no notch. It will also run Android Pie out-of-the-box as it is one of those Android One phones.
There’s another teaser of the event, this time, showing off a phone with a camera cutout. Why not? This is probably the 2019 trend of avoiding the notches. This phone might come with two rear cameras and the fingerprint scanner will be on the back.
As you can see in the image above, the silhouette shows the hole-punched display.
