The LG ThinQ series is very well known around the Indian markets and recently, the company announced that the LG V40 which was announced back in October will now be made available here in India.
The South Korean company also stated that the device will be available starting January 24. And the device is priced at Rs. 60,000 although, the price on Amazon.in is listed as Rs. 49,990 which may be the reason of the LG V40 taking part in the Great Indian sale on Amazon which will go live on January 20.
The LG V40 ThinQ sports a 6.4inch QHD+ display with OLED FullVision display panel and a 19:9 aspect ratio with Gorilla Glass 5 for extra protection and to keep scratches at bay. Under the hood, the device is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC coupled with 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB internal storage which can be extended via microSD card.
As for the cameras, the LG V40 features a triple camera setup which includes the primary 12-megapixel sensors with 1.4-micron pixel size with f/1.5 aperture and is accompanied by the 16-megapixel secondary ultra-wide angle sensor with f/1.9 aperture and a 12-megapixel sensor with f/2.4 aperture. To the front, the device comes with an 8-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel sensor.
The LG V40 comes with a dual-sim slot and is 4G VoLTE enabled with WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, and a USB Type-C port. The device comes with a decent 3,300mAh battery packed inside which also supports Quick Charge 3.0.
