LG Recycles the G7 Fit as Q9, comes with SD821, Android 8.1

LG’s slogan is Life’s Good. But it doesn’t seem that it is good for them since the last couple of years. The company is rebranding the G7 Fit as LG Q9. It will also come with a bunch of new colors.

The device was launched in Korea and is nearly identical to last year’s G7 Fit. It comes with 6.1-inch display with a notch, 4 GB RAM, 64 GB internal storage. It still has the  Hi-Fi quad DAC headphone jack. But runs on the old Snapdragon 821, which Qualcomm released back in 2016. It also ships with Android Oreo 8.1, even though Android Pie has been here for 6 months.

The LG Q9 will be available in three colors — New Aurora Black, New Moroccan Blue, and Carmine Red. It is priced at 499,400 won. It will be available on Korea’s three major carriers starting this summer.
