One UI: These devices will receive the Pie update this year

Samsung is surprisingly very fast with the Android Pie this year. Considering its reputation with major Android update rollout, this move is pretty impressive. Last year, Samsung launched its new Android Skin iteration – One UI.  The current beta updates are currently available on supported handsets. However, the update is still to reach many devices this year. Samsung announced the update schedule on their Samsung Members app. One UI is improving consistently over the beta updates as well.

Major One UI update months

January

  1. Note 9 – First Major Update
  2. S9/S9+ – First Major Update

February

  1. Galaxy Note 8 will receive the update in the month of Feb. it will be the second Major Update.

March

  1. The Galaxy S8/S8+ will get the update in the month of March this year. This will be the second Major Update

April

  1. A6/A6+ – First Major Update
  2. A7 (2018) –  First Major Update
  3. A8 Star – First Major Update
  4. A9 (2018) – First Major Update
  5. J2 (2018) – First Major Update
  6. J2 Core (2018) – First Android Go device to receive the first Major Update
  7. J6+  – First Major Update
  8. On7 (2018) – First Major Update
  9. Tab S4 (10.5) – First Major Update
