Sony is struggling in the mobile department for a while now but still wants to offer unique phones. A recent leak of its upcoming Sony Xperia XZ4 shows a tall display and thin bezels, but no notch. It’s taller than most of the 18:9 displays. Rumors say that it could have a 21:9 aspect ratio with a 6.55-inch screen.
The device could be among the firsts to run on Snapdragon 855. The SoC could be coupled with 6 GB of LPDDRX RAM. The smartphone is likely to hit the market in 64 GB and 256 GB storage options. For more storage, it will be featuring a microSD card slot.
The Xperia XZ4 will have a triple camera setup at the rear. It could be featuring 48-megapixel 1/2.3-inch Sony IMX586 sensor with support for OIS. It will come installed with the latest Android 9.0 Pie.
The phone will feature glass and metal combination body and sport a thin profile of around 8mm. It will be measuring 166.9 x 72.4 x 8.2mm. It will be featuring a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The Sony Xperia XZ4 will be launched at CES 2019 in Las Vegas later this month.
