Dell Launches Inspiron 5480, 5580 in India Starting at Rs. 36,900.

Dell on Friday launched two new laptops in India with 8 gen Intel chips and the Dell Cinema software for a better experience. Both the Dell devices belong to the 5000 series. The Inspiron 5480 starts at Rs. 36,990 while the Inspiron 5580 starts at Rs. 37,990.

Both the Inspiron 5480 and 5580 are powered by the 8th Gen Whiskey Lake CPU’s from Intel and both the models come with Core i3, i5, and i7. The Inspiron 5480 sports a 14-inch display whereas the 5580 sports a 15inch display. The display comes in full-HD anti-glare IPS display with some devices also coming with Intel Optane Memory.

The Intel CPU will be coupled with DDR4 RAM with 32GB variants available. Also, both the devices come equipped with USB Type-C port which most of the manufacturers seem to miss out on. Both the devices come with narrow borders and with lesser bezels making the screen more minimalistic. Also, both the laptops weigh around 1.47Kg which is absolutely spot on for a laptop with this specifications.

Dell also said, For users who collaborate on video, there is a miniaturized, 4-element lens webcam on the 14-inch option that utilizes “Temporal Noise Reduction” to increase image quality, even in the low-light conditions.

Alen Joe Jose, Director-Product Marketing, Consumer and Small Business, Dell India, in a report said, “Tech-savvy users who know how to get the maximum from their notebook and are looking for style statements when it comes to personal technology will surely appreciate these machines,”
