Nokia 8.1 Launched in India With Dual Zeiss Camera at Rs. 26,999
Nokia had officially launched the 8.1 in Dubai a couple of days ago and as of today, the 8.1 is official in India as well. The Nokia 8.1 was launched in an event today about which we reported a few days back. The event was held in Mumbai and the sales are expected to start from December 21st.
The Nokia 8.1 sports a glass sandwich design with a notch upfront and interpreted before. The 8.1 also comes with a 6.1 full HD+ IPS LCD screen with the Nokia’s PureDisplay tech which allows you to stream HDR content.
The Nokia 8.1 is powered by the newly announced Snapdragon 710 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM and Adreno 616 GPU. The Nokia 8.1 runs on Android 9.0 Pie with the Android One program, so, no worries on future updates. The battery is a decent sized 3,500mAh battery with USB Type-C cable for charging and data transfer.
The Nokia 8.1 comes with a 12MP+13MP rear camera module, also, with OIS and dual-pixel PDAF. The 8.1 also comes with the 3.5mm headphone jack and Bluetooth 5.0. To the front, the Nokia 8.1 comes with a whopping 20MP selfie camera with f/2.0. Nokia is marketing this device as a selfie centric device and is aiming it towards youngsters and influencers.
HMD also provides tons of launch day offers especially for Airtel users. The Nokia 8.1 comes in Blue Silver, Iron Steel and Steel copper colour variants. The device goes on sale for Rs. 26,999 starting December 21st on Amazon, Nokia’s official online portal, Croma and etc.
