Honor is very well known for its budget-oriented devices, although, lately they’ve been trying to move forward towards the flagship range with its Honor 10 and Honor View 10. Recently, we saw a rumor of the Galaxy S10 with a camera cutout design on the display also known as the ‘punchole’. Along with the S10 was the Honor View 20 with the same display design.
Alongside the above-mentioned devices, the Galaxy A8s is also one of the devices with the ‘punchole’ display. Honor Executive, George Zhao has confirmed that the Honor View 20 should be expected during Q1 2019. Also, a leak points out towards a possible launch event on January 22nd which will be held in Paris.
An image of the Honor View 20 was found on slashleaks and dare I say the display looks gorgeous. And yes, this device is yet another addition to the bunch of smartphones coming with the ‘WaterDrop Notch’. The notch features the selfie camera. Although, a promotional image found on the Web suggests the opposite. The image below shows us the punchole display. So that’s one confusion which will be cleared out on January 22nd.
Under the hood, the Honor View 20 is expected to come with the recently released flagship Kirin 980 processor coupled with 6GB RAM. The View 20 will be running Android 9.0 based on EMUI 9.0. Meanwhile, Huawei is all set for its launch of Huawei Nova 4 on December 17.
