RealMe had made its debut with its first ever device the Realme 1 here in India and just a few months later they have successfully launched around four more devices, excluding the most anticipated Realme U1 which is about to make a debut in India.
The Realme U1 has a price tag of Rs. 11,999 for its base variant which consists of 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. On the other hand, the higher end variant of the U1 comes equipped with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage and is priced at Rs. 14,999.
The RealMe U1 sports a 6.3inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display with 19:5:9 aspect ratio. The U1 also has a dewdrop notch which nowadays is a new trend in the notch factor. The same notch was previously seen on the Realme 2 Pro.
Realme joins hands with MediaTek for equipping its Flagship Helio P70 Chipset coupled with 4GB/3GB RAM and 64GB storage which is expandable to 256GB via microSD.
The Realme U1 at the rear sports a horizontal back camera setup with a 13MP + 2MP module and a 25MP selfie camera with f/2.0 Sony IMX576 lens. The company is eyeing to grab the attention of the youth of today by pitching this device as a ‘Selfie Pro’ device.
The Realme U1 packs in a 3,500mAh battery and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo-based on Color OS 5.2. For charging it has a micro USB port and a 3.5mm headphone jack too.
The device will be available in three color variants, Ambitious Black, Fiery Gold and Brave Blue. The U1 will be sold in India exclusively on Amazon. The sale of the device starts on December 5 at 12 PM IST.
