Samsung is against the notch, goes with UPS

Samsung has openly criticized the notch display trend that iPhones and Android OEMs are following. The upcoming Galaxy S10 will not have the notch. Thanks, Samsung! At the OLED Forum Conference in China, [they] introduced UPS or Under-Panel Sensors. According to this, [they] will infuse all the sensors below the display panel, making the notch bend its head in shame.

All the sensors ranging from Haptic feedback, Camera modules, and Fingerprint scanners, everything will be placed under the display.

Also, the Korean Giant will also make sure that should be no notch at all on its devices. The firm has also patented the ability to transmit sound from beneath the display as well. They might use the bone-conducting technology, which vibrates on sound, just like our eardrums, instead of a full-fledged speaker beneath.

We don’t know if the firm will rip off the Iris Scan, or will include something more unique with Galaxy S10.
