Nokia 3.1 Plus is a Budget Phone from HMD Global Launched in India


HMD Global just launched the Nokia 3.1 Plus. The phone is a successor to Nokia 3.1, which launched in May this year. The phone has pretty much good specs for the ₹8,394 (~$125) price tag.

Nokia 3.1 Plus Specifications

The Nokia 3.1 Plus is powered by MediaTek’s Helio P22 processor. The phone has a massive 6-inch HD LCD display which comes with the modern 18:9 aspect ratio. The device has 2GB as well as 3GB RAM variants with internal storage of 16GB and 32 GB respectively. There’s support for MicroSD card as well.


In terms of connectivity, the smartphone has 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Nokia 3.1 Plus Camera

The device has dual rear cameras with 13 MP primary sensor along with an f/2.0. The second one is a and 5 MP monochrome sensor along with an f/2.4. Users will be able to re-focus photos after they have been shot. For selfies, there is an 8-megapixel camera at the front along with an f/2.2.

Nokia 3.1 Plus Price and Availability

In India, the Nokia 3.1 Plus is available for ₹8,294 for the 2/16 GB variant and ₹11,499 for the 3/32 GB variant. The smartphone will go on sale starting October 19 through all major offline stores and the online Nokia store. Color options include Blue, White, and Baltic colors. HMD Global has additionally tied up with Bharti Airtel to bundle free 1TB data on plans above Rs. 199.
