HMD Global just updated its 7 Series with the all new Nokia 7.1 Plus. Unlike previous phone this year, this phone will make its way to the US and UK. The phone comes with midrange flagship features and is priced at only $349 (£299).
The device will be available for preorder starting tomorrow on Amazon, Best Buy, or B&H, and it will start shipping on October 28th in the US and on the 17th in the UK.
Nokia 7.1 Plus Specifications
The Nokia 7.1 Plus comes with a “PureDisplay screen technology,” which can display HDR-quality images on its 5.84-inch notched display. It can support HDR 10 and also convert SDR to HDR in real-time.
The Android One device runs on Android Oreo out-of-the-box and is powered by Snapdragon 636. The rear camera is a 12 MP shooter whereas the front camera is a 5MP one. Nokia’s Bothie feature is also there, which lets you take simultaneous shots from both the front and the rear cameras.
The Android One program ensures that the device will get Google’s latest Android and security updates for at least two years. HMD Global stated that Android Pie will be available for the Nokia 7.1 Plus by the end of November.
The phone is juiced up by a 3,060 mAh battery which is a little less when compared to other phones. The phone has both the USB Type-C as well has a headphone jack, so don’t worry about where you’d put your headphones, audiophiles!
Nokia 7.1 Plus Price
The Nokia 7.1 will come in two colors: “gloss midnight blue” and “gloss steel.” It’ll be available in a 32GB variant in the UK for €319 or 64GB for €349, while the US will only get the 64GB version for $349.
Additionally, Nokia also released two new accessories : True Wireless earbuds and the Nokia Pro Wireless Earphones. The True Wireless Earbuds are waterproof earbuds which can last up to 3.5 Hours of usage. You can charge them thrice with their own wireless charging case. That means you get essentially 14 hours of playback.
On the other hand, the Pro Wireless Earphones are neckband styled earphones which can offer 10 Hours of playback.
