Moto launched its new Moto One Power here in India. The device does come with an impressive list of specifications. But as usual, there is are some hit and miss in the list.
Moto One Power – Specifications
The new smartphone from Moto packs a massive 5,000mAh battery, that is quite large than Samsung Note 9 here. It is one of the USP of the device as well.
The Moto One Power runs on Snapdragon 636 SoC, which is clocked at 1.8GHz, having eight Kryo cores. The GPU requirements are handled by inbuild Adreno 509. It does come with a massive 6.2-inch LCD display. Moto calls it Max-Vision Display. It has the 19:9 aspect ratio, and, unfortunately, a notch as well. Seriously speaking, Moto should skip the notch on such pretty devices.
The Moto One Power comes with 64GB storage with 4GB RAM. It runs on stock Android Oreo out of the box. Yes, it is the first Moto device this year to run on the Android One Program. The company promises you to provide Android P and Android Q Update as well, including three years of security updates.
The camera module has a 16MP+5MP (f/1.8 and f/2.2), in the rear, whereas, a 12MP f/2.0 at the front.
The smartphone will be available on October 5 this year, with a price tag of ₹15,999. It will available on Flipkart only.
Moto One Power vs Moto G6 Plus.
Now let’s talk about the recently launched Moto G6 Plus. At a price tag of ₹22,000, it offers older Snapdragon 630 SoC, along with the smaller size battery (3,200mAh). Just with a high pixel camera model in the front, nothing is better than purchasing a device at ₹15,999, which gives you latest processor anyways.
Is that notch necessary? And Why placing your brand name on the lower chin of the device? Just skip it? Will Ya?
