Honor 8X and 8X Max is now official


Huawei today officially launched the Honor 8X and 8X Max to the public. These devices are gorgeous and enormous. One of the devices features a massive .65-inch display whereas the other features 7.12-inch display.

Honor 8X – a massive device in a budget

The new Honor 8X offers quite a nice look, with some decent specifications. However, the processor kept the device at the budget range.

The device comes with HiSilicon Kirin 710, with Mali -G51 for graphics. The device features a massive 6.5-inch display with a resolution of  2340x1080p.

The front camera features a 16MP shooter with aperture f/2.0, whereas the rear-facing camera features a 20MP+2MP camera setup.

And yes, the device has the legendary 3.5mm jack as well!

The base model with 4GB/64GB will come at a cost of $204, whereas the 6GB/64GB model will come at a cost of $234. the high-end model with 6GB/128GB combination is priced at $278.

Honor 8X Max – elder sibling

The Honor 8X Max is the elder sibling to 8X. Moreover, you will get better specifications on this than the 8X. This device features a massive, and one of the first device to have a 7-inch display.

The Honor 8X Max features a massive 7.12-inch display with a resolution of 2244x1080p. The device will come in two different processor model. The one with Snapdragon 636 and Snapdragon 660. However, we only get Snapdragon 636 device available for now.

However, the price doesn’t say so. The pricing of the device is quite low than expected. The 4GB/64GB model will come at a price of $219, whereas, the 4GB/128GB will come at a cost of $263.

The high-end with Snapdragon 660 will come with 6GB/128GB, but the pricing isn’t known.
