Samsung will no longer update S6 Edge Plus and Note 5

Samsung today excluded the all-time favorite devices – Galaxy S6 Edge Plus and Note 5 from security update list. This means these devices will no longer be supported by Samsung at all.

This is quite obvious. The two devices came out in the year 2015. Since then these smartphone has received security updates for straight 3 years. However, they promise updates for 2 years max.

Back in March, Samsung removed the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge from the update list. And today they removed these two.

The August security update will be their last update, unless some flaw is detected in the software. However, that is quite rare.
