Google Chrome is getting an update this week to support the native notification center in Windows 10. Google has been repeatedly testing this feature out for months and now, Chrome notifications finally go directly to Windows 10 Action Centre.
As spotted by Thurrott, Google is rolling out the update to 50 percent of Chrome 98 users. The other half will get the update in the coming days.
Notifications on Google Chrome will now work side-to-side with Windows 10’s Focus Assist feature. Similarly, it just mutes notifications when you’re playing a game or in a DND mode.
If you don’t see the new notification support in Chrome just yet, you can always manually enable it. Just simply head to chrome://flags by turning “native notifications” to the enabled state.
