Galaxy Tab A is the budget tablet from Samsung, but is it any good?

After launching the Galaxy Tab S4, Samsung now has a budget offering for people looking for an Android tablet in 2018. The Galaxy Tab A is Samsung’s answer to the iPad.

With a 10.5-inch display, the Galaxy Tab A is meant for light users who use a tablet to watch movies, play some light games, etc. The tablet has got just 3 GB of RAM and a outdated Snapdragon 450 processor which makes it useless for doing tasks other than above.

Samsung says that this cheap tablet is more than enough for “high-quality streaming features” at a “budget price”. Also, the Galaxy Tab A will be running on Android 8.1, just like the Galaxy Tab S4.

Fortunately, the device has a magnificent display. Samsung has packed in a 10.5 inch 1920 x 1200 AMOLED display and a 7,300 mAh battery which makes it an awesome device to consume media.

Samsung wants to compete with the iPads in 2018 and thus, it has announced two tablets in one day, both of them competing with the flagship and budget iPads.
