Galaxy Tab A2 XL specs leaks out, images too

We have several rumors of Samsung’s upcoming Tab device, Tab S4. But recently another rumored Tablet surfaced up. Originally reported by Sammobile, This new tablet will be called Galaxy Tab A2 XL. XL here means a display with 10.5-inch resolution. The device falls in mid-range, whereas the Tab S4 falls inside the flagship tablet range.

Also, the firmware of both LTE and WiFi model are present on Sammobile and Updato’s firmware database.

Galaxy Tab A2 XL – Specifications

The upcoming device will come with a massive 10.5-inch display. The display technology will be LCD, as compared to Tab S4. The resolution of the device will be 1920x1080p. It may have the recent 16:10 aspect ratio, introduced with Tab S4 since there are no hardware keys visible in the front.

It may come with Snapdragon 450 SoC, which is used in several Galaxy Phones. The same processor is used in the A6 Plus. It will have 32GB of onboard storage, with 2GB RAM, which I think is pretty less, considering how Android become sluggish over time, with Samsung Experience acting as a cherry on the cake. However, I can say that Samsung did a very good job of modifying its TouchWiz to Samsung Experience.

The front and rear camera may have a 5MP and 8MP camera respectively. The device will come with Android Oreo 8.0 or 8.1. The device will support fast charging and may come with massive 7300mAh battery.

Given that most recent phones are coming with Bixby onboard, instead of Briefing by Flipboard, this device may or may not have a dedicated Bixby key. For security, since it doesn’t have any hardware key, other than power and volume, it may not have a fingerprint scanner. So you may get facial recognition since iris scanner’s still a luxury, and is available with high-end model only. Which means you will only get face unlock, and of course the default lock system of Android. That means Pin, Password or Pattern.

Next week, we think that Samsung will unveil both the tablets at one of its events.

Till then, stay tuned!
