Galaxy Note 9 might not need DeX Dock to give desktop experience

Galaxy Note 9 is going to launch sometime in August, but the internet is filled with rumors. A rumor from has recently surfaced. This new rumor says that you will not require Samsung DeX  Dock anymore to get desktop experience. According to WinFuture, you will just require a Type-C adaptor that has Display Port enabled. Thanks to Samsung, their one more product will suck dust.

Just Kidding.

Back in the year when Samsung Galaxy S9/S9 Plus was launched, the user still has to buy DeX. DeX is actually a porting dock which allows you to connect your monitor to your phone. The DeX handles all the power requirements by the phone.

Not only you can project your videos and images directly to Monitor, you can also use it similar to a computer. Just what DeX does. However, Now you can do the same without it. But, the problem is the power consumption. Previously, using DeX, you can charge your device while working.

Thinking about the mouse? Well, Google Got you! Starting with Android Oreo, you can use your phone’s display as a trackpad. How? Very simple. When you will plug in your device, the display will be transferred to monitor and the phone device will work as the trackpad.

The Galaxy Note 9 will launch on August 24. Samsung will start taking preorders for the device the same day.
