Samsung opens largest factory in Noida, biggest from others
Samsung opens its biggest mobile factory in Noida, will double the output of their production:- Ever since India started “Make In India” concept, more and more mobile manufacturers are trying to follow the same. Samsung is one of them. The South Korean company usually had a huge userbase in India, until Xiaomi came into the market. Now, Samsung has opened the biggest mobile phone factory here in Noida, India. This factory will target to provide a larger output of the products than before.
Usually, Samsung ranked at the top in the list of top manufacturers. But when Xiaomi came into the picture, the Korean giant is in the second position. After Shri Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister of India, he initiated the “Made in India” campaign. According to this campaign, every biggest brand products will be manufactured here in India, for Indian Market. Since then most overseas manufacturers are taking interest in the program.
However, in a country like India, things are way more expensive than in the USA. Like if you are paying around $720 to buy S9+ from the company, we have to pay around $100338 for the same. Yes, that includes every tax etc. Made in India scheme may lower down the cost of the devices to approx what you pay for in the USA.
India has a population of around 1.3 billion people. Out of which only 20% has acquired a smartphone. Rest of them are yet to buy a smartphone or doesn’t have one at all. However, Buying a flagship here in India still not considered a good option. The reason is people need a smartphone less than $250. Even Apple has less user base in India, though people still finance their Apple devices just to show off the so-called premium brand logo.
I hope this new factory will help to solve problems of Samsung.
