Android Messages brings Desktop Messaging

Back in April this year, Google revealed its plans to compete with iMessage, an Apple’s proprietary service. Google decided to turn Android Messages into something, that can compete with iMessage. A lot of changes are supposed to be done, but another feature is also being introduced – Desktop Messaging.

Say hello to Desktop Messaging

Google will later start rolling out the update to all of the users. But, if you don’t know, Google has also introduced a new subdomain to its Android’s website. The website is messages.android.com.

When you go to the website, you will be greeted with a large QR Code, that is to be scanned by [the] app.

Here is the screen what you all will see

To log in, tap the three dot menu on the right-up corner, then select Messages For Web. Then on next screen scan the QR code on the above-given website.

Other than this, Google also highlights some smaller features. These features include GIF search button, Smart Reply and much more
