Galaxy Note 9 to feature repositioned fingerprint scanner

Galaxy Note 9 to feature a re-positioned fingerprint scanner:-  Back in 2017, Galaxy Note 8 was, even S8/S8+ were criticised. The reason? The Fingerprint Scanner position.  The Fingerprint is placed near to the camera setup. This leads the camera to get smudges every time we try unlocking the device.  Also, due to certain features, you will get notification of dirty camera. A strong reason, why S8 and S8+ with Note 8 are criticised. Now certain leaks have surfaced up about the position of a fingerprint scanner. We can see it below the camera setup.

Also, we can see an additional feature of the device with the available case images.

Other than the repositioned fingerprint scanner, we can see another slot on the cases in the below images.

Nevertheless, it also shows that Note 9 will sport a dual lens setup, Just like Note 8. Since the failure of implementing an in-display fingerprinter scanner, Samsung tried to re-position the fingerprint scanner. This new position will now make the camera lens dirty anymore.

Now let’s move to the additional slot in the case. That particular slot suggest that Note 9 will also feature a dedicated camera key!

Specifications

The Galaxy Note 9 may feature a dual-camera setup.  It is merely 8.8mm thick. Also, it will sport the same 18.5:9 aspect ratio. The display can be QHD+ with around 6GB RAM and up to 256GB storage.

Moreover, the device will sport an in-house Exynos 9810 chipset or  Snapdragon 845 in some regions.

Samsung will unveil the device at Unpack event on 9 August this year.
