OnePlus 6 Appeared On Wi-Fi Certification Site, Expected To Launch This Month


OnePlus 6, the next flagship smartphone from the Chinese manufacturer has been surfacing on the internet from past few weeks. Now, the upcoming flagship has been spotted on the website of the Wi-Fi alliance after getting certified.

The certification website revealed the upcoming OnePlus 6 carries the model number A6003. The smartphone will runs on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system with firmware version OsygenOS 5.1.0 and support dual-band Wi-Fi.

The Wi-Fi certification doesn’t reveal much about the device, but from previous leaks, OnePlus 6 will be arriving with an edge-to-edge display with an iPhone X-like notch on top. The image also reveals some of the specifications of the device. As per the image, the smartphone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo Operating system and offers 6GB RAM with 64GB of internal storage. This could be the base model of the device. For photography, the smartphone will come equipped with a dual rear camera setup with a combination of a 12MP and 20MP sensors.

Some other rumors claim that the smartphone will comes equipped with some new features like in-screen fingerprint scanner and 3D facial recognition. It is also expected to come with advanced 3D facial recognition feature as available on iPhone X and super-fast LTE gigabit connectivity.  It is expected that the OnePlus 6 will be launched in the end of this month.
