Back in I/O 2016, Google announced Android Instant apps. It’s a lightweight format for an app that a developer can add to its app page in Play Store. What it does is, it basically provides a way to demo apps and their features, without even downloading the app or any files. Two years later, in Game Developers Conference, Google introduced Google Play Instant for games. With a new “Try Now” option next to Install Option on Play Store listing, users can try out the game or app even before installing :
