Photos app updated for Windows 10 Skip Ahead Insiders with Remix Collage and more

Windows 10 Insiders who’re on Skip Ahead branch are receiving a new update for Photos app. The new update brings in a bunch of new features to the app for video editing, searching and Remix creation.

The update now allows you more control over the Remix stories you create. After creating collage Remix button will allow you to pick the photos for the collage. The update also includes enhancements to the Video Editor within the app.

The update, v2018.18022.14240.0 brings the following features to the app:

  • Remix Collage – For each album or story automatically created, the Create collage button will be displayed. Once clicked, a collage automatically created with the best photos of the album will be displayed. Through the Remix button for me, you can change the photos chosen for the collage and the layout used.
  • Video Editor Enhancements – A video button has been added to the video editor screen to switch to displaying the video in Full Screen. A Resize button has also been added, allowing you to choose whether to display an image with black bars or to automatically adapt it to the proportions of the video project.
  • Tag highlighted in search suggestions.

The update is available for all Skip Ahead branch Insiders on the latest build. You can check for updates in the Windows Store app.
