Android Oreo is now available for Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus in the US

Samsung had been testing Android 8.0 Oreo for Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus since November. While the beta ended back in January, it is now that Samsung has rolled out the stable build.  Oreo brings in support for Picture in Picture (PiP) mode, app notification dots, autofilling and more. However, Samsung is also including the Samsung Experience 9.0 which comes default with this year’s flagship, Galaxy S9, and S9 Plus. The Samsung Experience 9.0 brings some nifty features like Color Lens that can change the temperature of the display to provide better reading experiences and more.

Apart from the new features, the update includes security patch update for February. According to Verizon, Galaxy S8 is receiving build  G950USQU2CRB9 and G955USQU2CRB9   for the S8 Plus.
