LG may have plans to launch two new flagship smartphones soon, as soon as in late April or early May. The two new smartphones, LG G7 and G7 Plus may launch in May according to a new report at ETNews. Previously, LG was expected to rebrand its G series, but with the recent new they may be holding on to it at least for a while.
LG G7 is rumored to have Apple iPhone X-like notch on the OLED display and AI camera features like seen on the LG V30S ThinQ. The LG G7 may also sport a vertically mounted 16-megapixel dual-lens rear camera along with a Quad-DAC audio system. The handset is said to pack a 3000mAh battery under the hood.
G7 Plus will feature Snapdragon 845, ugraded RAM and internal memory in addition to all the specs of G7.
Coming from the same report, G7’s price is expected to be KRW 100,000 ( ~$100 ) more than its predecessor, LG G6. G7 Plus on the other hand will be priced at 1 million won ( ~$940 ).
The report also hints towards the release date of lG V40. Due to LG G7’s launch, LG V40’s launch may delayed to November 2018 instead of scheduled September release.
