After China, India is the biggest market for Xiaomi’s smartphone business. Last year only they have become the top smartphone vendor in India.  While they reached the milestone thanks to last year’s Redmi Note 4, they want to repeat the success with Redmi Note 5 and Note 5 Pro this year.  Today they have announced the availability of Redmi Note 5 and Note 5 Pro. Both the device is almost same except for the chipset and the camera. It’s a bit disappointing to see no Oreo out of the box. The devices will come out with MIUI 9 running on Android Nougat.

However Redmi note 5 Pro will be sold for INR 13999 for the 4 GB variants and at INR 16999 for the 6GB variants.  The devices will come in Black, Gold, Rose Gold and the new Lake Blue with a case inside.  You will be able to order them in flash sales on Flipkart and Mi.com, 21 February at 12 PM IST onwards.
