Samsung is now rolling out Android 8.0 Oreo update to Galaxy S8

Last month we reported Samsung has completed beta testing of Oreo for the Galaxy S8 and looking forward to releasing it to the public. Now you can get the update for your device just by going to the Settings » Software update  menu.

However, the beta testers are in the line first. So they will receive the update before the normal users. Beta testers will receive an update that’s smaller than the regular update.  G955XXU1CRAP is the firmware version of Oreo that’s Samsung is sending to the Galaxy 8 users. It also comes with February 2018 Security Patches and other features like the new version of Samsung Experience UX. You will also notice some difference in performance after the update hits the devices.
