Nokia 9 is expected to launch soon, possibly even in January, and its details are now leaking online. In the latest leak, which comes from the FCC in the US, there are details that hint the Nokia 9 will be a bezel-less phone with a dual camera and a 5.5-inch screen. Although, there is nothing official about these details, the fact that they appeared on the website of FCC, which is a regulatory body in the US, means they are accurate.
Until now, we have seen renders, live images and some specs of the Nokia 9 surfacing online. Now the FCC certification reveals almost all the key specs that the phone may come with. The screenshot of the specs sheet shared on FCC website has been leaked online. Going by the leaked details, Nokia 9 will come with a 5.5-inch OLED panel made by LG. As of now, there are no details on the resolution and aspect ratio of the phone.
Meanwhile, an image of Nokia 9 has also surfaced online. The image shows the phone only from the front, and hints at a bezel-less display. The image has been leaked on Chinese social network site Weibo. It reveals that unlike the earlier rumours that suggested that smartphone may boast a design similar to that of the Nokia 8, Nokia 9 will see a major design change, especially on the front
The biggest design change seems to the lack of fingerprint sensor on the front. In this way, the Nokia 9 looks like the Pixel 2 XL or the OnePlus 5T. It is possible that Nokia is either putting the fingerprint sensor in the Nokia 9 on the back or it may use a under-the-screen sensor, a new kind of technology that is expected to come in high-end phones from January onwards.
