OneNote beta for Andriod updated with support quick notes

Microsoft has rolled out an update for beta version of their OneNote app on Andriod Google Play Store. The update doesn’t include much but bug fixes and improved Andriod Nougat support.

The update, version 16.0.8827.2001, brings the followig changes:

  • Create different types of notes quickly using pop-up menu
  • Bug fixes and improvements

The pop-up menu was introduced in Android Nougat, which basically pops up when you press and hold on the icon. Using this pop-up menu users can quickly create notes, lists or add photos or audio. Needless to say, you’ll need Andriod Nougat installed on your device to be able to use this feature. The update also contains bug fixes and improvements as usual.

You need to be a beta tester before you can download the app. To be a tester, join the beta testing program here. Learn about OneNote for Android beta program at this Google Plus community. You can grab the OneNote from the link below.
