Skype for Windows 10 has been updated with new features that bring it in par with the classic Skype Windows desktop app. The new version includes three key changes and several other bug fixes and general improvements.
Now with new Skype you can tag other people in group conversation just like Twitter and other platforms. You need to use ‘@’ followed by the username of who you’re going to mention. Also this update lets you delete entire chat in single right click.
Here’s the full changelog:
- Control your presence – set your presence on Skype by going to your profile and selecting Active, Do Not Disturb, or Invisible.
- Delete chats – right-click on any chat and select “Delete Conversation” to delete it forever.
- Mentions – type “@” followed by someone’s name to mention them in group conversations
The update, version 12.8.487.0 is rolling out to everyone through Store, so make sure you have the latest version to be fully able to use the features.
