Movies & TV add more video editing tools in the new update for Fast ring insiders
In a new update for Movies and TV, Microsoft has added improved Photos app integration to the app. Now the app features new video editing tools that’ll let you edit the video in Photos app.
From the official changelog:
- Get creative: Use Photos to add ink, slo-mo, and more while watching your videos.
Now you’ll see a new pencil icon at the bottom of the screen while watching videos in the Movies and TV app. On clicking the icon the video will open in Photos app where you can edit it. This is limited to your own videos, purchased or rented videos contain copyrighted content hence not available for editing.
You can trim the video, add slo-mo effect, take screenshots and ink them all in the Photos app. Make sure you have the latest version of the app on Windows 10, that is 10.17102.12311.0. The new update is rolling out too fast ring insiders currently but should roll out to the public branch soon.
