Android 8.0 Oreo Beta might come to Galaxy S8 and S8+ sooner than we expected


A new report claims that Samsung is preparing to release Android 8.0 Oreo Beta builds for Galaxy S8 and S8+ on October 31, that is today. Samsung is no doubt the currently one of the best smartphone manufacturers when it comes to hardware, camera and build quality. But their software is always criticized by people. So if we consider the report to be true then its a huge news for smartphone enthusiasts.

According to the report, the countries that are going to receive the update today are –

  • North America.
  • The United Kingdom.
  • South Korea.

After rolling out the builds in the above-mentioned countries, Samsung will start rolling out to –

  • China.
  • France.
  • Germany,
  • India.
  • Poland.
  • Spain.

In case you are interested to participate in the beta then you need to download Samsung Members App from Google Play Store and register for the beta from there. For North America, its the Samsung+ app. Once you are done with the registration go to Settings > Software update > Download updates manually to start downloading the beta builds.
