Now “Go Live With” your friends to broadcast together in Instagram
Instagram delivers! The “Go live with friend” feature is finally rolling out to the public after months of testing. Now now you live stream together with your friends in a single stream.
Instagram already teased this as the upcoming feature back in August. This feature was being tested internally by a limited number of testers, and now its finally out for general users to use.
Live video helps you share in an authentic way, but sometimes it can be intimidating when you’re on your own. It’s easy to add a guest while you’re broadcasting. Simply tap the new icon on the bottom right and tap “Add” to invite anyone who’s currently watching. Once they join, you’ll see the screen split into two and your friend pop up right below you.
You still have the choice to remove your guest from Livestream and add someone else, also if you’re added to such a stream you’ll have the option to leave. When someone with live streaming together with his friend, you’ll see two stacked circles in your stories bar.
