OnePlus 5T is coming with a 6-inch 18:9 Display like the Galaxy S8
Back in 2016, just three months after the launch of OnePlus 3, the company released OnePlus 3T with a slight specification bump. The Company is going to do the same with OnePlus 5. OnePlus 5T will be released in November 2017 with a bumped up display.
From 5.50-inch to now 6-inch, the display will have a screen ratio of 18:9 with 2160 x 1080p resolution. Other companies like Samsung, LG, Huawei, Xiaomi has already started shifting to the news aspect ratio and OnePlus does not want to fall behind. There won’t be any other specification bump since the OnePlus 5 is already an up to date hardware monster.
GizmoChina managed to get a low resolution render of the OnePlus 5T model. The design has taken a lot from the Galaxy Note 8. Like the 18:9 ratio and slightly curved edges. However, the render looks similar to recently leaked OPPO F5. GizmoChina’s source says the devices are identical when looked from the front.
