Bank Of America chooses Microsoft as its partner to modernize their business

Microsoft Cloud is one the most picked option for enterprises these days. Continuing the trend, America’s second-largest bank, Bank Of America has decided to use Microsoft Cloud for its digital transformation. BoA will use Microsoft products like Azure, Office 365 to run their business efficiently. Not only they are going all Windows 10 but will also migrate 200,000 of their employees to Office 365 for more productivity and better collaboration across the company. Howard Boville, chief technology officer at Bank of America said :

“Our agreement with Microsoft aligns to our target of delivering 80 percent of our technology workloads on virtual platforms within the next several years, further establishing Bank of America as a digital leader in financial services,”

Judson Althoff who is executive vice president in Worldwide Commercial Business, Microsoft Corp also said :

“Technology is increasingly providing a competitive advantage to financial services firms looking to thrive in the digital economy. Bank of America is taking a very strategic approach to cloud, looking at technology as a means to drive change and open up new business opportunities. With Microsoft Office 365 and Azure, the firm will have access to the breadth and depth of our cloud capabilities, underscored by Microsoft’s investments in security, transparency and regulatory compliance.”
