Nokia 8 release date set to August, HMD sends out Press invites

Not soon after Nokia 8 pics leak on the internet, HMD has started sending out media invitations to various new agencies. It is speculated that this might be Nokia 8’s release event that people have been waiting for too long.

Nokia 8 is the new flagship by HMD under Nokia branding. It was first leaked by Even Blass (@eveleaks) on twitter and then further news and images followed from multiple sources. It would be the first flagship phone by Nokia that would run Google-based Andriod OS. It’s also the first of its series to come equipped with Carl Zeiss optics. The device will be available in a silver and a gold variant, which you can check out here.

Previously, the release date was rumored to be July 31, but now it seems it’s been delayed to August 16th. HMD’s launch event is scheduled for 7:30 PM local time at London on 16th August, and we may expect to see Nokia 8 release at the event.
