LinkedIn, now owned by Microsoft, has released its first official app for Windows 10. The app is available for Windows 10 only and is slowly rolling out in Windows Store in different regions.
The app is essentially a web wrapper for the LinkedIn website, meaning the UI and functionality are exactly the same as the website. Even though the app is basically a browser only for LinkedIn, it has some additional features especially for Windows 10. The app can send notification for Action center for various real-time events, has a live tile and can be pinned to the taskbar and Start menu.
The update is slowly rolling out over the supported regions.Global rollout can be expected to happen at the end of the July. The app is available in 22 languages in Store. To download it, you have to search for the app in Windows Store. If it’s available store listing will show up and you can download it from there.
